Drop-In Classes
Each class has a 1:3 instructor to student ratio, allowing for specialized instruction. Students learn to throw on the potter's wheel, hand build, sculpt, paint and glaze. Students work on a project from their imagination at their own pace; those who come to class every week can work on their projects for an extended period of time.

Drop-in students attend a single regular class and create finished pieces, thrown on the wheel or hand-built, within one class period. Drop-in work can be picked up two weeks after the student's visit. To schedule a drop-in, please take a look at our class schedule and give us a call in advance to ensure a spot is available, as classes fill up quickly.

Day Camps are scheduled one Monday a month from 9 - 3pm. Kids have full access to the studio and including the potter's wheel, hand-building, and painting their finished work. Work created at camp is available for pick up 2-3 weeks after. Before and after-care services are available for an additional hourly fee.

We offer nine individual week-long summer camps throughout the summer. The sessions tend to fill up quickly; we book the camps on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens in early 2020. We are happy to host a workshop for your class or scouting group! For scouts: we cover all the bases for your pottery badge. In addition to learning about the history of clay and its many uses, we coil build, hand build and use the wheel. If there is a specific process your group would like to explore, please let us know. Charter schools: please call to schedule a group rather than booking online!

Birthday Parties are offered on Sundays only. Participants work with wet clay for an hour, learn to throw on the potter's wheel, hand-build, and paint their work. We have classes for grown up kids too! While our regularly scheduled classes are known to have an occasional parent join in on the fun, our Wednesday evening class is adults only. It is a slightly longer class but the format and structure is the same: complete freedom to explore your creativity.

Technical Details: All work is fired to Cone 6 (oxidation) with occasional Cone 10 (reduction) availability. Drop In Students can decorate with underglaze and have pieces clear glazed when ready, or return to glaze at a later date.
