Kids 'N' Clay -
Stafford
Kids ‘N’ Clay of Stafford is locally owned and
operated by professional clay artist and art educator Joyce
Leatherwood. Opening a Kids ‘N’ Clay Pottery Studio
turns a dream into reality and has given Joyce the opportunity to
share her love of clay and create art with children every
day.
Joyce’s enthusiasm for the
creative process encourages even the timid “would be” artist and her
ceramic expertise guides the more advanced student giving
artists-in-residence at Kids ‘N’ Clay a full spectrum of the ceramic
studio experience. The studio atmosphere provides a
safe environment for children to make discoveries as well as
mistakes and to learn from others as they develop their own unique
view of the world.
Joyce was
attracted to become part of the Kids ‘N’ Clay community because of
their proven innovative programs and what they offer to a child’s
development.
